The award was presented to Sheila Lockie in recognition of her years of fundraising especially for the Common Riding. Sheila, along with a group of hard-working volunteers, has raised thousands of pounds making and selling Common Riding rosettes. The group has also made miles of bunting to bedeck the streets every year in June. Sheila has been active in the production of the Common Riding booklet, a valuable contribution to the success of the CR and another valuable funding stream.
